So what is assist:directory?
In simple terms, it’s a centralized list of local businesses and organisations; it’s a bit like Yell.co.uk. But unlike Yell.co.uk (and most other commercial business listings), the data on the assist:directory database is owned and controlled by you.
In addition to this perhaps overly simplistic view, we’d also like to think that assist:directory is packed with a range of features that will enable you to become more effective at managing your relationships with organisations in your local area (i.e. outbound communication using the website and bulk email modules, the tracking of activities using the CRM module etc).
assist:directory is an online solution
This means you wont need to install any additional software and you don’t need to purchase any additional server hardware – we take care of that for you. The only thing you’ll to need to access the system is a device with a connection to the Internet (PC, Mac, iPhone etc) and a modern day Web Browser.
assist:directory is highly configurable and can be styled in line with your organisation's own corporate identity. It has been designed as a modular system which means that you only pay for what you need.
